Ah, the virtual gaming world. Its super weird. Even the most avid gamer has to come to that conclusion.
In an interview with The Verge, Keanu Reeves not only talks about his latest movie, The Matrix Resurrections, but he also fishes on some Cyberpunk 2077 dirt. As a lot of gamers know, Cyberpunk 2077 sex scenes are ripe throughout the game. But for many fans of the game, that wasn’t enough; instead, they attempted to mod the game to allow Keanu’s character, Johnny Silverland, to have sex (with them, the fans).
Instead, much to the chagrin of horny fans, Cyberpunk 2077 quality assurance removed Keanu’s sex mod.
But when asked during his The Verge interview his feelings regarding Cyberpunk 2077, Keanu seemed happy to know that players want virtual sex with him. Moreover, Keanu says he’d have virtual sex with his fans. Oddly, with the metaverse growing in popularity, it might not be so unrealistic to consider that some day, fans may have virtual sex with Keanu. But as for now, that won’t be on Cyberpunk 2077.
The Keanu Cyberpunk 2077 sex mod was alive and well, but only for a small window of time until it got axed. One Cyberpunk 2077 developer said that, “When it comes to models of real people whom we’ve asked to participate in the game, we kindly ask you to refrain from using them in any situation that might be found offensive if you don’t have their explicit permission.”
Reeves never signed on to allow fans of Cyberpunk 2077 to create sexual mods of him, so developers hands were forced even in light of Keanu’s verbal blessing.
Oh well, right?
With the metaverse creeping into our lives, I’m sure we aren’t that far off from bizarre celebrity encounters.
