In Detective Necro, the narrative is set in a high fantasy world that has experienced a technological revolution, bringing its technology up to date. Magic disappeared from our planet long ago, making it practically mythological to most people. Humanity's Empire has engulfed the whole planet and its numerous species at its peak. You're orphaned and raised by an orc when you're a child. You were an ordinary person until an ancient creature sought you out and bestowed upon you abilities you had never asked for. You'll need to put your newfound talents to work when a murder with a striking resemblance to an earlier case surfaces. It's up to you how you go about it. Will you be like Dirty Harry and play by the rules, or will you break them? Both options have their advantages and disadvantages.
